Experienced Dog & Cat Caretaker
Pet care experience
I have experience taking care of dogs & cats of all breeds. Young, old, big, or small. Since I was young, I’ve always been the one my family goes to when they need a pet sitter! Right now, I’m raising my german shepherd puppy and I’ve successfully done basic training with him. I also have a saltwater reef tank, and can definitely maintain them if anyone needs it!

I am an experienced sitter who you can trust to take amazing care of your pup. I do drop in visits and dog walking. I have a 4 month old german shepherd puppy at home, so I’m definitely used to hyper/energetic dogs & pups! If your dog is less active, I can bring the activity level down to where your dog is happiest and most comfortable. I take any (and all) opportunities to snuggle and go on fun adventures with dogs. Young, old, big or small.

Information kelly R. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if your dog has any health accommodations, medications I would need to administer, allergies, treat sensitivities, if they're housebroken or not, and if they’ve had any training.
A typical day
I always make sure the dogs I take care of has plenty of physical and mental exercise so they’re not bored! I have extra toys and tennis balls, and I can take your dog to the park if requested. Something I really like to do is make feeding time a fun and accomplishing experience for dogs by making them work for their food. For example I’ll have them sit, down, wait, until I say eat, or stand on an area rug before hand feeding them a portion of their food. Then I repeat for the whole meal. If the owner says it’s okay, I can try & teach their dog some commands if they don’t know them already. By owner request, of course, I can feed them regularly. In my experience, many dogs think this is a fun and rewarding brain challenge!

I’m currently a freelancer with a flexible schedule. When your pet is in my care, they will have my full attention! I love to pre-plan the day(s) with your pet depending on their needs which can include play time, walk/run time, socializing, nap time, bath time, or even some time doing reward based basic training (if I have permission).
