Hi there, welcome to my dogsitting profile! I’m from Chicago but have been in the Springs for two years now. I’ve dogsat for numerous people here and have developed a regular clientele! I don’t have the means to rescue my own dog right now, but love using this as a way to spend time with dogs and treat them as if they are my own! Back home, my family has three dogs (2 rescues & a golden retriever) and we have fostered a variety of dogs over the years. I absolutely love animals and have volunteered at animal shelters as a dog walker since college. I have a variety of experience with dogs from pups to seniors, high energy to couch potatoes and trained vs untrained. I typically send texts, updates, and pictures while I’m watching to keep the owners in the loop. My rates on here tend to be higher to account for fees.

Kelly was great with our pups! She stayed overnight during a holiday weekend and did a fabulous job. She is a great communicator and took amazing care of our pups and home! Highly recommend!
Kelly always did a great job and kept my Dane company and took him for plenty of walks. I super appreciate her coming out to see him!
Kelly is great with my puppy, Willow (Brittany Spaniel/Golden Retriever mix). She's able to handle her puppy energy and get her enough play and exercise to settle down. I can always trust Kelly to show up when I need her and Willow is always excited to see her.

I am a huge fan of palmer park, bear creek, or on a hike but we would discuss your comfort ability levels with me taking them to any of those places! Love tug of war or running around with them in the backyard too

Please let me know if you dog has any special needs, behavior problems, and personality traits that require me to adjust my approach differently. In working with rescues and having two high anxiety/dog reactivity, I am comfortable working with animals of all abilities
A typical day
For high energy dogs, I love to take them for walks, runs, or play fetch. I can assist in doing training as well. We can come up with a plan at a meet and greet to determine the best plan for your pup to enjoy their time with me while I stay or work with them.

Availability
I currently work full-time in sports, with a flexible in office or work from home schedule. If I dogsit, I tend to spend most of my time with the dog and adjust weekend plans to account for the job of dogsitting.
