Pet care experience
I have been taking care of and training pets for family and friends from a very young age. I am an animal lover by nature so usually have pets warm up to me very quickly. I like to treat train dogs so if there are any tricks or training you may need help on let me know and maybe they'll come home with some new tricks! I realize details are important when it comes to the health and comfort of your pet so I am ready to be loaded up with as many details and ready to follow your instructions.

Kelly was excellent at taking care of my dog while I was in California. You can really tell she loves animals and they her. Pepper had a great time at Kelly's home. I got lots of photos of them together and walking with other dogs and interacting with other people which was great for my dog. I would recommend Kelly to anyone who needs care for their dog.
Kelly was amazing with our very anxious dog. While he's been a Rover client before, he hadn't been away from home for several years and was definitely not excited about it! Kelly helped calm him down with lots of walks and attention. She kept us up to date on how he was settling in with texts and pictures and was quick to contact us when she had a concern about a skin issue. By the end of his visit, Paxton was sharing a bed with his new chihuahua friends and enjoying play time with them. I'd highly recommend Kelly and will definitely book again in the future! Thank you!!
Kelly has watched our dog many times and I have been so pleased! Our dog is always excited to see Kelly. Kelly takes our dog on many walks and send photos of our dog to us while we are away which is so appreciated.

I have a two bedroom place so have plenty of space for dogs to run and play there is no yard so walks and trips to the dog park near by are a regularity. I want your pet to feel as comfortable in my home when overnight boarding so send them over with whatever beds, crate, and toys you think will help create a comfortable environment for them. I personally don't crate dogs but if that is a part of your dog's routine and safe space I have a large enough home for any size crate.

Let me know if there are any special supports your pup needs! My preferred dog to take care of is a potty trained dog that likes walks or cuddling but I'm an animal lover who will support many personalities as long as they are potty trained. If you have a puppy I am happy to support knowing ahead of time training is in the process and I can take the appropriate means of action to ensure the area the pup may have accidents in is limited.
A typical day
My dogs and I are constantly on walks around the neighborhood and the forest near our home. We take trips to the dog park that is 3 minutes away and really enjoy being out in the sun!

Availability
I am a teacher so in the summers I have full open availability. During the school year I work 8 hours a day so feed and walk dogs in the morning before leaving, come home and immediately walk dogs, and then feed them and do one or two more walks in the evening before bed. On the weekends I like to take dogs to walk trails or go to the dog parks and have full availability.
