Pet care experience
I have been a Rover member for many years, having taken care of dogs in Chicago and fostering in New York. In 2022 my husband and I adopted Frankie, a terrier mix who is about 40lbs. We live on the first floor of an apartment building with a small but private backyard in Cobble/Boerum Hill, and are home most of the week as both of us work remotely.

Kelly was an incredible sitter for Poppy. She and her husband/pup took great care of Poppy, provided very attentive care, lots of cute pictures, and I know Poppy had a great time, which made it easier for me to enjoy my trip! I would definitely book her again!
Quinn had a great stay with Kelly. Pick up / Drop off was quick and easy, and communication was always fast. Thanks for taking care of Quinn!

We have made an effort to crate-train and ensure Frankie is comfortable being left alone for a few hours when we do leave the apartment. Otherwise we ensure all food, socks and plants are out of the way!

My apartment is very dog-friendly, however I do live in close proximity to other families. For this reason it would be preferred if your dog was comfortable being left for a few hours while I am away at work without barking throughout the day. There will be hallway sounds of neighbors coming and going.
A typical day
We take Frankie on walks throughout the neighborhood, and frequent Prospect Park during the weekends. There are several smaller nearby parks that we’ll take her to and let her run off leash if no one is around ?

Availability
My husband and I both work from home, although we do juggle busy schedules during the day. We take Frankie out around 8am, 1pm, 5pm and 10pm and typically get about 20-40 minutes of walking in.
