Pet care experience
I grew up in a family that had pets such as dogs, cats, rabbits, canaries, and fish. Now, with a family of my own, my kids love animals too and we think hosting dogs in our home is a great way for our own dog to have socialization. We look forward to walking and playing with your dog, snuggling on the couch, grooming/brushing, and maintaining the dog's normal schedule (as much as possible). Our home has a large yard with trees backing up to a small lake. Indoors we have 3 levels with a combination of hardwood and carpet. We will love your dog just like our own!

Our dog, Grits, couldn’t have felt more at home with Kelly and Michael. My husband I were able to thoroughly enjoy ourselves while out of town, knowing Grits was in good hands. We will definitely ask Kelly and Michael if Grits can have another sleepover in the near future!

Kelly and Michael were SO accommodating. From our first correspondence, they made my dog's stay easy and comfortable. We were headed out of town for a baseball tournament, which meant the possibility of a late return depending on how many games were played. As it turned out, our team advanced to the championship, and it meant putting us back in the area around 9:30 pm. Kelly and I stayed in touch via text, and Michael was kind enough to offer to meet up with us so we could pick up our dog and a convenient location for both families. They provided updates and pictures of Koda and their pup throughout the weekend and were terrific to work with. Koda had a fantastic time, and is worn out! We will definitely be back for another stay!

A typical day
Walks around the neighborhood (paved walking paths) If given permission, we would love to take your dog on a hike and/or to play in a grassy field. Our kids are active in sports (softball and baseball) so we would love to take the dog to a practice or game.
