I've taken care of animals since I was about 12 years old. I've owned, chihuahuas, pitbulls, German Shepards, and heelers. I also currently have goats,chickens, ducks, dogs, and Guinea pigs. I've taken care of cats but not as much as dogs. Like any other person on here, I love animals and I'll do my very best to keep them safe and happy.

I've walked big dogs that lunge and I'm pretty good at keeping them under control without hurting them. I've watched dozens of hours worth of dog training videos and how to read a dogs body language which has helped me train and understand the dogs I've owned. I know how to do the basics like bathe, brush and trim nails.
Information Kelly M. would like to know about your pet
Some information I would want to know before meeting a dog is how they do with strangers and how they would like me to approach them. Any type of aggression would also have to be communicated. Although I don't mind walking a dog who has these types of problems, I'd like to know ahead of time to be prepared and know what to expect and what I should do in order to keep the pup and myself safe. Leash reactivity/ aggression or pulling would also help me better prepare myself for the pup.
A typical day
I love playing fetch, tug, and any other game that help dogs exercise their body and mind. I love working on improving their obedience skills and teaching them new tricks so if that is something you wouldn't mind I'd love to do that with your pet. I enjoy long walks and jogs on public trails and parks. I understand not all dogs like public spaces so I wouldn't mind adjusting to fit the dogs needs.

Availability
I'm currently working part time and I'd love to fill in the rest of my time with animals. I'm usually not available during the weekends but could free up my schedule once in a while to be free on weekends if necessary.
