I’ve been in love with animals my whole life! In elementary school I would walk dogs in the neighborhood for fun. I’ve owned my own pets since the age of 8 and had a family cat my whole life. I graduated uni with a degree in Equine Industry and Management, learning a lot of general animal care as well through my courses. I also have my cat currently, and very recently had to say goodbye to my best friend/pup of 14 years. I miss him terribly. Since I was young I’ve been told I have a knack with all animals. My own pets’ incredibly unique and wonderful outgoing personalities reflect the love and understanding they were raised with. I’m currently recovering from cancer and cancer treatments for the last year and a half. I’ve recently spent over a month in Ottawa for the last treatment which was a pretty big one. I’m holding off getting a “formal” job for a bit while I recover. All I want to be doing is hanging out and spending my time with animals, so I figured what better way than taking care of them via this platform.
