When I was a pre-teen, I volunteered at Save-A-Pet Inc, assisting in pet adoptions for dogs and cats in need of forever homes. I grew up with animals (Great Danes!) and have cared for my own pets (both dogs as well as cats) during my adult years for their entire happy lifespans. I have a patient, caring nature with all animals that tends to put them at ease very quickly. For my full-time job I work as an editor for Salon, and I enjoy doing Rover on the side as it affords me the ability to get out of the house, see different parts of the city and, most importantly, spend time with and care for animals. It's a win/win! I specialize in walks and check-ins. I make a point to maintain the schedule your dog (or cat) is already used to, and go above and beyond to make sure they have as much rest, snuggles, play-time, and snacks as they need.
