Fenced country getaway!
Pet care experience
We LOVE dogs, and love watching our 2-yr-old collie/hound mix Bodie play with other dogs. We spent years dogsitting for friends before we finally got him. While we work full days in Madison, we spend our early mornings and evenings playing in our large fenced grassy area, and strolling around our property - 60 acres with a combination of open areas, wetland, woods and a river. Dogs seem to love our place - they can run, explore, and relax indoors or out. They can even take a swim if they are so inclined! We will dote on your dog like we dote on Bodie - plenty of attention, pats, and even some special cuddling on the bed time in the morning. Our house is pretty dog proof, so we don't crate him during the day, and wouldn't plan to crate yours either. We look forward to hosting your pup!

I had to board my 6yo Labrador for the weekend, and Kelly and Josh were absolutely the best choice I could have made for my baby, Terra. They are very warm people, there was a huge backyard to play in, and their own dog was a good companion for Terra to play with. When I picked her up, Terra was all smiles and happiness. I would definitely recommend them, and would happily leave Terra with them again without hesitation.
Kelly is a responsible and loving dog owner, and I highly recommend her for your petsetting needs. Kelly looked after my dog Olive while we were roommates, and I was always at ease knowing that Olive was in good hands. She is also well organized and an excellent communicator, so you can be sure your dog sitting transactions will be smooth and that your dog’s needs will be met. She is also very attentive and affectionate, so your dog will be loved and well cared for during their stay! NH

We have an active, friendly dog - Bodie (2-yr-old collie/hound) - who LOVES to play and interact with other dogs. Ideally your dog will be socialized and interested in being around another dog. We rent the second floor of our house to a friend who has two kids, 8 and 12 years old, so your dog should be comfortable with children.
A typical day
We will primarily walk around our property - 60 acres of open grassland, wetland, woods, and a small river. Plus close to a 1/2 acre fully fenced grassy area with shade when it gets hot. We are about 10 minutes from the Prairie Moraine County Dog Park, and like to go there on occasion as well.
