If you're on here looking for the perfect person to care for your pet then it's already obvious that you are an animal lover. I understand how important it is to make sure your pet is getting the best care while you are away. I would do anything for my fur babies to be as comfortable and loved while I was out of town. Let me tell you a little about my experience. I have been an active volunteer/foster in multiple animal shelters (only switching due to moving out of state) for the last decade. Most of my experience is with taking care of cats, however, I have owned a labradoodle in the past who was very high energy and kept me on my toes. My main volunteer duty at the shelter was to socialize animals. I work full-time from home, and can bring my work with me - so staying at your place if that would make your animal the most comfortable is totally fine with me. I have a special place in my heart for senior animals. I have fostered many senior animals including hospice cats to make sure the end of their lives are lived fully and comfortably. I am comfortable administering medication and this includes giving insulin shots. I also have experience with pregnant cats, bottle feeding kittens, and feral cats. I live an active lifestyle and would love a buddy to take on multiple walks throughout the day. It’s a plus if you’re comfortable with me taking your pooch somewhere to go hiking for the afternoon but I completely understand if you’re not comfortable with that.
