I have been around cats and dogs the majority of my life. I am a current dog owner and have over 15 years of experience with cats (senior, adult, and kittens). In the last 6 years, I have walked dogs and cat-sat for friends and family.

I have one dog who is an eager bundle of joy to make new friends. I am familiar with and avidly use crates in the daytime if your dog has trouble being out in a new place or at night if they are more comfortable sleeping on their own. In client's homes, I will follow your dog/cat's routines. I will follow feeding schedules, walk times, and even specific routes or parks that your dog prefers! I have experience with emergency situations and familiarize myself with your pet's needs if an emergency occurs.

Let me know if your dog or cat has any special needs that need to be considered when watching them. I prefer to do a meet & greet with it's a new client/four-legged babe! This helps me see their space, learn their harness/leads, and go over house rules & feeding schedules.
A typical day
Depending on your neighborhood and animal, I will always take the opportunity for longer walks! If your dog is friendly and social, we can always go to a dog park or an open park for running around. I typically prefer to have dogs on a long, waist tied lead versus off-leash at parks. It ensures that everyone is being safe and returning!

Availability
I currently have a strict weekday routine with my dog and cat - early morning walks, breakfast, and playtime before I work from home. My job allows for weekday flexibility when I am housesitting--we can take midday walks! The weekends are more relaxed and I take longer walks/runs in the morning and have more time for one-on-one bonding!
