I have a 8 year old shih Tzu of my own that I've cared for, trained (potty and obedience), raised since she was just 6 weeks old. I've always grown up with a dog in the home, and I feel that it's given me insight into how to meet a dogs wants and needs and read their body language. I also have some experience with sitting my parent's dog and puppy, cat sitting, dog sitting for disabled dogs, and caring for/being around horses previously. I'm vegan, and the values I associate along with that, include treating animals with just as much respect as I do humans.
