Dog lovin’ teacher!
Pet care experience
We have a combined 20+years caring for all kinds of pets from dogs to horses to cats and bunnies. We love all the pets and can’t wait to meet yours! James is a teacher so he is home every day (and almost always for the entire day) in the summer! Kelly works full time but is home to help on weekends and evenings. We do not have a fenced in yard, but we do have a nice park within two blocks for walks! Covell dog park is just over a mile from our home as well. We have our own dog named Amos, a 2yr old beagle-basset hound mix (neutered) and a super friendly orange and white tomcat named Rupert. We also have a lion head bunny named Arwen. We have one roommate who also loves pets (although he is not home very often!). We will make sure your doggos have lots of love and attention, regular walks and of course owner-approved toys and treats!

I was so scatter brained the week before my vacation and Kelly and James were incredibly flexible with us and our plan for departure and arrival. The dogs got to go to the dog park and came home happy and tired after playing with some puppy pals. We even got a cute doggy bag. We appreciate you guys taking such good care of our smooshface crew! This was my first time using Kelly and James' Rover service. My request to them was rather last minute and they got back to me very promptly letting me know of their availability and offered a meet and greet with my dog Sallie. During Sallie's stay they sent me great pictures and walked her often. I was totally at ease that my dog was in great and loving hands. Sallie was introduced well to their dog Amos and they got along famously. When I picked her up they sent us home with a little treat for Sallie and some great pictures for me. I enthusiastically give them a top rating and I will be using them again.
Kelly is great with animals of all shapes, kinds and sizes! She always takes good care of any pet - whether or not they're her own. She tends to think of any animal as more of a part of the family than a pet. She is very responsive, available short notice and will listen to any type of need you/your pet might have. I couldn't think of a more perfect person to watch your babies while you're away!

We just want to know that dogs we are sitting are friendly and non-aggressive. In addition, we prefer all older pets to be potty trained but understand that puppies are in-training, and we can certainly assist with that!
A typical day
We live right near a nice city park which is perfect for walks, and there is a nice dog park about a mile from our home. We love going for walks, and trips to the dog park are something we do very regularly!
