My family is full of animals people, but particularly dog lovers! This means that ever since I was a child I have been surrounded by dogs of all different sizes, ages, personalities, and needs. I treat all dogs as if they are my own, putting their needs first and making sure they are comfortable and happy. I also love walking/hiking, so dogs with lots of energy are not a problem! To give you some background on myself, I have dedicated my life to animals. I have a BS and MS from UCSD in animal behavior and ecology. I focus my studies on bats in the wild, and work for an environmental consulting company in the Sacramento area. Because my work is seasonal, when I'm not busy with that I enjoy switching my focus from working with wild animals to caring for domestic animals. I am originally from San Diego, and took a hiatus for several years from dog sitting professionally after moving a couple times for school/work. Now my husband and I are settled into our new home in West Sacramento, and I am happy to be back on Rover! I would love to hear from you and to meet your furry-companion(s)! I can provide dog walks, over night stays (at my place or yours), and/or day time quick visits (potty breaks), whichever service suites you and your pet's needs!
