Pet care experience
I have lived in Palm Desert for 28 years, I am a retired active woman who is a childcare provider. Some of my families have had me housesit with their dogs. I found that I enjoy it just as much as caring for children. I am able to housesit with your dog or come to your home and check on, let out, feed, play, walk. I am able to take your pet to the dog park. I have a large Italian Mastiff/Pitbull Mix named Jaxson. I have years of experience with all sizes of dogs and all ages as well. I have always had dogs in my life and I thank all my dogs for coming into my life. I also can care for cats and have cared for tortoises and lizards. Kelly is so great with dogs and people. She goes and above and beyond the call of duty. She does extra work every time she has stayed with our dog. She is reliable, always on time and cheerful. She is a joy to work with.
I know a fellow animal lover when I see one and Kelly is definitely that. We have a 17-year old Shih Tzu who needs a lot of assistance and Kelly has been wonderful in helping us out these past few years. We definitely recommend her!

Kelly, or “Kelly Poppins”, is like family to us. She arrives with practically a suitcase of toys and immediately engages with the kids. She is way much more than a typical babysitter. She is always prompt, arriving with a smile on her face. She is able to stay cool with even the most difficult behaviors. One would be lucky to have her as a sitter.

I don’t usually care for dogs in my home due to the fact I have a very small home and have a large dog already. He’s a lover and wouldn’t mind if a little to medium dog would come for some sleepovers. Haha

Does your pet require 24/7 care? (Different rate for that, contact me before booking ) , can your pet stay alone for 4 hours, Does your dog pull when being walked, will he/she be scared or nervous while your away , any behaviors I need to know about and how to handle them, any special meals, is your dog on medication. How do you handle mealtime and or treats. Only Spayed/ neutered dogs please. Does your dog like to sleep in bed with a sitter?, yay!
A typical day
I am able to load your pup up and take on a walk anywhere you like. I love to go to the dog park, as well as just walking around your neighborhood. I am an engaging and attentive dog sitter. I will talk to your pup and probably sing to him/her as well. I will not be bringing my own dog to your home. Your sweet baby will have my undivided attention and get loads of love. I am very detail oriented and will come to the meet and greet with paper and pen. I have no problem brushing daily. Snuggle and belly rubs galore! While your away I will also water plants, bring in mail, grocery shop for your return, keep your home clean and fresh.
