Hello pet owners! My name is Kelly and I am offering pet-sitting services for BOTH cat and dog owners! :) My experience? I have had approximately 6 years of personal experience caring for both cats and dogs. +For pups, I have been around young dogs and older dogs. I can say that I absolutely love the energy the younger ones exude and have no issues reciprocating the same energy through any activity to give them a good time! I have also taken care of senior dogs with special needs (e.g., walking issues from dead nerves, incontinence, chewing problems) and cared for such dogs for an entire weekend. +As for our feline friends, I have done a lot of house-sitting and drop-in visits to care for cats. I have cared for a diabetic cat for 2 years which included administering insulin shots. I have a pretty good knowledge on the basics of caring for cats and have a good grasp on understanding their nature and needs. There's never a cat I have not enjoyed being around! (Fun fact: I love all cat breeds) Why me? Cats and dogs have different needs and temperaments that I am capable of caring for. My pet-caring and pet-sitting ability is versatile. I also believe it is important to have love, care, and patience when taking care of animals. Pet care and sitting should involve positive interactions with pets that require a certain level of trust and bond! As a meticulous individual myself, I want to make sure I take the time to not only learn more about the pets I am going to care for, but the pet owner and their interaction with their pet as well! This is for me to ensure that I provide the best care possible to make pets and pet owners happy. If you have particular tasks for me, I can fulfill them in a diligent and detail-oriented way that would meet you and your pet's needs. I am also good with communication. If you need to reach me through any form of communication to check in or have any other requests, you can do so with ease. I can give updates if you'd like as well! My services include: house-sitting, drop-in visits, and dog (or cat) walking. My house-sitting includes overnight stays if needed. I am also comfortable with sitting for multiple days to even a week; however, I will need to be informed in advance for longer stays.
