Please have your dog(s) Rover profile complete with details (temperament, level of exercise, response to commands, and more), care instructions, and a photo. • Anything you believe is important to make your dogs stay as comfortable and enjoyable for them is what is most important to me. >> The more I know the better it is for all of us to make a decision if our home is a good fit for your dog(s) and giving myself as well as you, the upmost confidence to know that I am able to commit to providing the care you are requesting. This will help make our time together enjoyable, safe and comfortable for all of us. << • As a small and independent pet sitter Wellness & Safety are my top priorities! • Being informative of allergies, behavioral issues, as well as any specific triggers or fears (i.e. terrified of thunder, scared of loud noises, things of that nature) will help ensure the best possible experience for your dog. Having this information in advance helps me provide a safe and comfortable environment for your dog and ensures that their needs are met during our time together. • Your Honesty about your dogs Temperament and Behavior is very important. >> For the *SAFETY* of myself, family, our pets and all other pets entrusted in my care I will not accept any dog with a history of aggression towards anyone or any other animal (biting or attacking) (past or present) of any kind. I am very strict with this policy and make *NO* exceptions. I will not accept any dog with a high prey drive or continually looking for an escape route. Please keep this in mind as you consider me as a potential caregiver. I am not for every dog and I want to ensure your dog is comfortable and most importantly safe in its environment. << >> I do not accept dogs with excessive barking issues, severe separation anxiety (any anxiety that may cause aggressive and/or destructive behavior), strong dominance issues. I also cannot take sick dogs, dogs that have (or are currently taking any medications to treat) diarrhea, incontinence issues or dogs that are vomiting prior to drop off. You must disclose if your dog(s) have any of these issues. << • Your dog must be parasite and flea free for their stay. They also must be up to date with flea and tick preventatives. • I require proof of current vaccinations prior to confirming your booking request. You’re welcome to send your recent vaccination record (photo acceptable) via text or email. • Please include Emergency/back-up contact information in your Rover profile and/or written and included with your dog’s food etc >> Drop-Off and Pick-Up times are very Important to us as I do plan our daily activities with the dogs around these times (meals, walks etc.) If for some reason you cannot be on time let me know as early as possible to reschedule. << >> Clear communication is very important and greatly appreciated. << >> Pick-Up/Drop-off (9AM - 7PM) are ALL prearranged, by appointment ONLY and must be scheduled in advance. << • I offer Pick-Up and Drop-Off (for established and *repeat* clients only) to and from your home (within a reasonable distance from our home, scheduled on a case-by-case basis only) **Please let me know if your pet is prone to car/motion sickness** >> Always send an exact ETA prior to your arrival. For example: “On our way, we will be there at 9:45.” If for any reason I don’t come directly out upon your arrival please send a message “here” to let me know that you have arrived. I will meet you at the gate of one of our two fenced play yards. This way I can be prepared and plan accordingly (have everything packed and ready to go, etc.). This allows for an easier and stress free Drop-Off/Pick-Up for everyone; especially the dogs; not only yours although any other boarders we may have at that time as well. I appreciate your understanding.<< >> Please be courteous to your time as well as mine, be on time for a Meet and Greet/Drop-off/Pick-Up, or if you are running late, please give me a heads up. << >> I am very flexible on time. However, I ask that you respect certain policies and boundaries I have set for each given service. I understand that we are human. Emergencies happen, plans change. If, for whatever reason, you must Change a booking, please notify me as soon as possible so I can plan accordingly. You will find I am very willing to allow flexibility. << >> Animal care necessitates a great deal of planning, setup, cleaning, and scheduling. I commit my time and schedule to make sure that my time is 100% dedicated to the care of your dog(s). All I ask is that you are respectful of my time and I promise I aim to always be reasonable and nothing short of respectful of yours. Your understanding and cooperation is greatly appreciated. <<

>> Our home is located in a very unique rural area (within close proximity of town) hidden on a beautiful nature filled, country setting. We believe in good old fashioned fun and embracing the simple joys of our every day. << >> Our activities are always dependent on a variety of factors (i.e. the season, weather conditions, excess (or lack thereof) energy levels, geriatric needs etc — the list goes on) and will depend entirely on the individual dog. No two stays are ever the same as we always follow the lead of our furry friends! Always being mindful and striving for a perfect balance of enriching activities along with quality downtime. Each and every dog always have their own idea of what their favorite activities are. This is what I love most about my work as a pet sitter. I believe this is what makes our boarding experience so extra special and enjoyable for all of us! There is so much truth to “Happy Dog Happy Life!”<< • Our safe and secure fenced-in play yard (this encloses around our back door, your dog will not need a leash to go to outside) allows for off leash (*ALWAYS* Supervised) unlimited fun, as well as allowing for safe, quick late night and early morning potty breaks. It’s also a great place for all of us to hang out together in the fresh air and sunshine during the warmer months. • Updated April 2021: For my senior pups who come frequently, have limited mobility and like to have/require a more relaxed environment along with any other guests who may prefer not to mingle (less social pups, siblings etc); we have a separate fenced-in yard, (this also encloses around a door), opposite side of our home, your dog will not need a leash to go to outside. There are a set of stairs, as well as a ramp), in case of boarding overlaps, etc to ensure safety and accommodation of all dogs. I am very aware and hands on with each personality to ensure safety at all times. Bonus: It’s a great addition for drop-off and pick-up as well! Accommodating safe and secure entering and exiting with minimal disturbances to any other boarders we may have. Making for happy campers! • I require all dogs to have a properly fitting collar and/or harness (all dogs need to have an I.D. tag) and leash (preferably no Retractable Dog Leashes; for safety reasons.) I keep ALL dogs on a leash at ALL times when outside with the exception of our time together in our fenced in play yard. If your dog does not receive regular (consistent) walks at home, is not (familiar with or moderately) leash trained we will not be going on any walks/hikes and all outdoor free play/exercise will be in our fenced in play yard and our spacious play area inside. I will not provide walks if your dog lunges, pulls excessively or has any leash reactivity. Safety is always my top priority! • All dogs on the premises must arrive and leave on a leash. No exceptions! >> You will need to provide *food* and *treats* for your dogs stay. Please be specific with meal plans (via Rover profile and/or including written instructions included with food etc). If your dog requires medications to be dosed daily, please provide medications in labeled bottles or bags, *dosage instructions* and any helpful dosing aids (peanut butter, cheese, pill pockets). It is very important to give me detailed instructions on your dog’s medication dosages and times **Please pack at least 2 EXTRA days worth of food (as well as medications if applicable)** to accommodate for any unexpected change in plans/delays. We occasionally make homemade dog treats to share although always ask first before sharing with our guests! **I am very strict about following each dogs individual dietary needs as instructed.** All dogs are separated during feeding times and only have access to the food provided for their meals. << • I have bowls, beds, crates (if requested) and toys! If you feel there are specific items which will make your dog(s) feel that much more comfortable, you are of course more than welcome to send them along for the duration of their stay.
