Pet care experience
Hi! My name is Kelly and I have been working with animals for over 15 years. I attended Vet Tech school in 2009 where in addition to getting an education, I trained numerous rescue dogs so that they could acclimate into a normal home life. I have been working at an animal emergency room for 7 years and I love working with all kinds of animals! I have a dog, 2 cats, and a 7 year old son who shares my love for animals as well. I enjoy taking care of peoples pets and creating some amazing friendships in the process. I look forward to meeting you and your furry companion! Why I love dog sitting I have been an animal lover for as long as I can remember and decided at a young age that I wanted a career helping animals. I started working at Animal Hospitals when I was 16 and have been doing it ever since! I enjoy being able to make animals feel comfortable in an otherwise uncomfortable setting. I treat every dog with the same love and respect as I would my own. About my yard We have a large fenced in yard that is great for playing fetch in! We are right next door to a large field and park if leash walks are more your style as well.

Kelly is an exceptional pet care giver! I left my dog with Kelly and her family for an extended period of time and like many dog owners I was so worried and sad to leave my Virgil. But Kelly and family gave him constant love and affection. She sent me regular updates and made sure to stay home and give my dog a lot of attention. I would like to know if they are aggressive towards people or other dogs, or if they have any illnesses that require medication. I also like to know what types of things they like, like if there is a certain way they like to be pet, or if they have to have their food presented to them a certain way.
A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks I have a very large park with huge fields and a bike path near my house that I like to walk the dogs on. Especially in the nice weather! I also have an area behind my apartment that is designated for leashed walks. Your dog's sleeping arrangement It depends what the owners prefer. Some owners kennel their dogs at night, some have their own doggy beds... I'm open to suggestions/requests as far as sleeping arrangements go. If the owner provides no kennel or bed then I will let them sleep in my living room. Time I'll spend with your dog All day. I am home all day with my son, then I work a 6hr shift at night at the emergency room.
