Pet care experience
Growing up, we always had pets. From fish, to rabbits, to cats and dogs. I have experience with a variety of animal care taking. I have some brief medical knowledge after working for VIP Pet Care for 3 months. During this job I learned about a variety of different ailments pets may experience, how to recognize illness, and medical options for common illnesses. I also have experience giving sub q fluids, oral medication, and insulin shots. I am currently a full time student, work part-time at Pfeiffer University as a teaching assistant, and work remotely from home a majority of the week. I enjoy caring for animals, which has inspired me to work on attending gradate school in the near future in order to work toward a degree in wildlife conservation. My love of animals extends beyond play time and cuddles. I am there to build a relationship with and care for your pet.

Information Kelly F. would like to know about your pet
No breed preferences. Dog must be friendly to other dogs and cats. I would like to know your pet's feeding and potty schedule. Any additional health concerns and attention your pet may need will need to be fully disclosed so I can give your pet optimal care. I will need veterinary information in case of an emergency. Behavioral characteristics will also need to be included. Is your pet shy? A chewer? Does you pet need a specific exercise regiment? Are they leash or toy aggressive? This information will be discussed further during the interview process.
A typical day
The state park is 10-15minute drive from my apartment. I love to take my dog River, and other dogs on a hike if they are up for it. We also have a great fenced in dog park in our complex for the dogs to run freely and play fetch. If that is not an option, then we can take a serious walk through and adjacent neighborhood. Fetch is always a favorite at my house, and I love to work on learning new tricks in order to build your pet's self esteem as well as trust in me.
