Pet care experience
Hello! I’m a dog lover with eight years of dog sitting experience. I’m also a lifelong dog parent! I have one dog, Bea, a brindle rat terrier mix who is super friendly and laid back. I recently moved to New Haven from Los Angeles for my job, working for Yale. We live on the first floor of a house in East Rock with a fully fenced (and impregnable!) yard. Because this isn't my main gig, I only take one dog at a time. So, your pet will get a very personalized visit! I also have limited availability from my day job taking up a good amount of my time/my own personal travel, but you can always send a message even if my calendar is blocked off, we may be able to work something out. ***I love senior dogs and dogs with special needs!!***

Ovi had a great time with Kelly. He went on walks, played in her fenced in backyard, and played with her dog Bea. Kelly was sure to update us daily with pictures so that we knew how he was doing. We’d definitely recommend Kelly as a sitter.
Kelly was terrific! Arlo had a wonderful stay and came home happy and tired. I would 100% send Arlo to stay with Kelly and her pup again!

At home, dogs are treated like family, I admit I kinda spoil them but they’re on vacation!! The yard is amazing and we’re half a mile from East Rock Park. I have a large apartment with plenty of space, so the dogs have room to play and spread out.

A typical day
Lots of cuddles! Playtime! The dog park! I recently moved into a larger apartment and have plenty of space to run around. There’s a dog upstairs in addition to mine, but usually keep any visiting dogs away from them just to lower the amount of new things/stress.

I have a regular M-F office job, but I work from home a lot. The wfh schedule varies but if this is important to you just ask me ahead of time and I can figure it out or make sure I’m home those days. I can take dogs out as often as needed when I’m home. If I'm at the office, I'm gone from about 9-5 so the dogs will go out around 8:30 and 5:30 (then before bed of course). Weekends are usually lots of free time to take walks to East Rock park and around the neighborhood, and plenty of backyard time throwing toys, sticks or whatever else your dog might want to chase after :D
