Pet care experience
Hello pet parents! My name is Kelly, and I love to run and play with dogs! Before I started working for Rover, I fostered shelter dogs and volunteered at my local animal shelter. I adopted my own dog after fostering for a while and have loved being a pet parent so much, that I want to help other pet parents in need! I’ve taken care of dozens of dogs in the past, and am very comfortable with fur babies of all types and sizes. I have my own transportation (I have an SUV so I can transport bigger dogs and/or crates and supplies if needed), and I have a relatively flexible daytime schedule (both weekdays and weekends). I have my own steam cleaner in case any puppy accidents should occur, and I’m fine bringing that with me to a client’s house. I love dogs of all kinds, fostered and boarded numerous pups and kitties in my home, and I can’t wait to meet yours!
Reviews
Kelly Clare was amazing. We missed our ladies while we were gone but, we enjoyed getting updates and pictures. It’s a great feeling knowing that Jessie and Raven were in good hands. Thank you Kelly Clare!
5 Stars! Kelly Clare is the best. Our 2 doxies absolutely love her and always have the best time. We feel at ease knowing our boys are well taken care of.
Kelly is the absolute best! She is our go-to sitter and our pup always has the best time when she goes!
Kelly, as always, did an awesome job watching pur fur baby. Ginger is always very happy and content when we pick her up. Kelly takes her on walks, goes to the nearby doggie park, and plays with her at home. She keeps us updated with pictures and videos each day. Thank you, Kelly!

I treat all fur babies as if they are my own! I follow specific medical/food/behavior needs as each dog requires—just let me know a head of time!
Information Kelly Clare T. would like to know about your pet
I don’t have any breed preferences when it comes to dogs! I take my clients on a first-come first-serve basis, so if you prefer to have only your dog(s) staying with me at a time (aka no other pets present besides yours) I’m happy to oblige—I only ask that you let me know in the booking request ahead of time. Before our booking dates start, I would like to go over what a normal day and night routine looks like for your pup so that they’re as comfortable as they can be with me while you’re away. I’d like to know beforehand if there are any allergy/medication/dietary needs that apply to your dog. I’d also like to know if your dog is a “nervous chewer” due to anxiety/nervousness, or if there are any other behaviors I need to watch out for. If you’d like me to give your dog a bath while I’m dog sitting, just let me know where you would prefer for that to happen (like in the shower/tub, sink, outside, etc.). I would also like to know specifically if there are certain dog treats or chew sticks/toys (like rawhide) that may upset your pup’s belly. Most importantly, know that I treat each and every dog as though they are my own—with lots of love and lots of fun!
A typical day
Each dog has their own unique needs when it comes to their energy levels and exercise requirememts. For high energy dogs, we will go on lots of walks and runs! All dogs will be given potty breaks every 2-4 hours, multiple playtimes/exercise breaks per day, and love & affection 100% of the time. When a pup is staying with me in my home, I use a “puppy cam” surveillance camera connected through my phone. I do this so that I can still supervise my Rover Pups on a live stream—no matter if I’m at the grocery store or simply in another room. This is particularly helpful with special needs dogs, sick/elderly dogs, and puppies who like to get into mischief. I also have a 4ft tall bolted dog gate with a latch door for human access and a smaller door for small breed dogs or cats to pass through without allowing big dogs to pass. I normally only use this hallway gate if the owner has asked to contain their dog in one area (for training or medical purposes), or keep dogs separated from each other for their own comfort and safety. I primarily only use a crate if the owner has asked that I do so during specific times of the day (or we’re crate training), but other than that, your dog is free to lounge and play in my house as they would in yours. One of the best things about working for Rover is the one-on-one time I get to have with each dog. This isn’t like having your dog stay in a kennel with only a few personal interactions throughout the day. I treat my Rover dogs just as I would treat my own “fur baby”. Any pupper that I take care of will get lots of walks, belly rubs, and love!

Availability
I am very flexible when it comes to doing rover on a weekly basis. I can be available as much or as little as needed. I have my own dog so I’m very familiar with the general needs of dogs.
