I am a retired attorney and I have an absolute passion and love for dogs! In fact, I work part-time for Jet Set Pets, a dog daycare, boarding and training facility - which I LOVE, but there is nothing more gratifying than being able to provide the kind of individual love, care and attention, that hosting dogs in my home while their "parents" are away provides. I understand that every dog is different but for ANY dog, an unfamiliar environment produces natural anxiety. My friends call me the dog-whisperer b/c I haven't met a dog yet that I can't make feel loved and secure quite quickly. I pay special attention to the owner's directions on how their dog would like to be most cared for and feel loved and at ease. I "get" that it is like leaving your baby with a stranger so don't worry parents - when you see my home and my heart - your anxiety will be relieved as well! I have loved and cared for dogs for over 20 years and I have even fostered a few (which was actually pretty heart-breaking when I had to release them to new homes - even though I knew that was the goal! :)). I can provide many references from "dog parents" who have trusted me with their babies.
