Pet care experience
I have owned dogs consistently for twenty years, dogsat for Rover for two years, and I have worked in a variety of animal clinics for six years. I am not certified as a vet or vet tech, but I have tons of experience in clinical settings and safety is my number one priority! I am currently between internships so my schedule is extremely flexible. I’m located in Carbondale, IL. I love going on long walks and runs and can handle dogs with lots of energy to match my own! We asked Kelly to house sit our 2 furbabies for 2 weeks and we were very pleased with her. I left specific instructions since they can be very picky, she was very patient and caring. She also provided frequent updates. We enjoyed our trip worrying less about our babies since we know they are well taken cared of. She also left the house clean. We would ask her again to watch our babies if the need arise. Thank you so much Kelly.

While I don't provide sitting within my home, I am willing to travel to your home and stay with your pets to provide the ultimate comfort. I provide lots of text/photo updates. I always make sure to have any medication schedules written down and have your veterinarian's information on hand in case of emergency. I am more than willing to put you in touch with previous clients so you can hear first-hand about what you can expect when you book me.

A typical day
I like to emulate your pets' typical routine so that they can stay at ease while you're away. If that includes going on walks, runs, hikes, or trips to the dog park, that is no problem with me!

Availability
I'm an early riser and will take care of your pets first thing. Long walks or run are no problem to get out some energy. I may have to go to campus for class for a few hours if it's during a weekday, but otherwise I will stay home with your animals.
