Pet care experience
I work from home, so I’m home all day! I’ve had a small pet bird named Chirpie since 2004. He just turned 24. He will typically stay in his cage or in a closed off room if needed. I don’t have any other pets, but I do have some sporadic repeats that I may check with you on if they will be there during requested visit dates. I’ve taken care of dogs and cats belonging to family and friends for many years. I truly enjoy caring for animals. I just don’t want to add another permanent family pet with Chirpie being 24 years old. I truly enjoy the company of having animals with me during the day. It’s a quiet, single person household, so there is typically not a ton of unwanted excitement. I’ve not cared for pets professionally in any official way, but have taken care of some dogs and cats of acquaintances for pay many times.

Kelly provided a nice environment for our large dog. She was very nice to work with and kept us updated with pictures and texts.
Kelly treated my dog so well, walks and lots of play time in the backyard. She is kind and caring and creates a nurturing environment for animals.
Koda is always happy to go to Kelly's and photos while there show he is very happy with his surroundings. Kelly allows him on furniture and even bed so he is quite content. He especially likes his walks and car rides.
She was great, took great care of my dog while she was there i would definitely recommend her

I have a nice-sized fenced in yard. I’m in a low-traffic neighborhood where walks are really nice. I don’t mind animals on the furniture at all. I have steps for really small or elderly fur babies that need a little help. I’ve given medicine to pets, but not injections. I really enjoy cuddling with the animals and playing with them in the back yard. I’ve frequently checked in on friends’ and families’ pets outside of the home. Cats and dogs. I’m responsible, attentive, loving, and great at keeping the parents updated or ask questions when I need to. I love to know their favorite ways to play, favorite toys, favorite ways to and interact. I’m flexible to following owner preferences of kenneling, etc. Just let me know!

Information Kelly C. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know about any lack of training or difficult quirks that may come up. I would like to know what makes them anxious and uncomfortable. I’m happy to give pills, but I’ve never administered injections. I’m not sure I’d be comfortable with that. I will want to know about sleeping habits, crate training, recent illnesses or conditions, if car rides are ok and enjoyed, and if they like to be picked up or not. Other items can be addressed on a case by case basis.
A typical day
I am working typically M-F from home during regular business hours, but I get out with the dogs before work, on breaks, on my lunch, and of course, in the evenings. I will be happy to walk the dogs, take them out to the back yard frequently, talk to the dogs, play fetch, give cuddles and scratches, take them on car rides. My neighborhood is great for walks, and I have a park just a couple blocks away from me for walking. I can take dogs I’m more comfortable with to a dog park. I do want to learn more about training and tricks with any dogs that would enjoy that!

I work from home full time. My schedule is almost always open and flexible. I have no other regular commitments outside of the home. The animals would rarely be left, if they are allowed to be left, and not usually for long if they are. I’m able to jump up and let them in and out, feed them, play a bit, talk to them, give attention, or administer medicine virtually whenever they like.
