Pet care experience
Pets are family and I understand how stressful it is leaving them let alone and trusting someone to give them the best care. I have a 2 year old collie named Sydney. We compete in agility and she is my best friend. I work at a school as my full time job and pet sit as a side job. I have 20 years of experience with pet ownership and 2 years of experience training my dog to perform over 65 party tricks and compete in agility. I have experience watching for unusual behavior that warrants a trip to the vet. I once had a pup who’s tummy turned from bloat and was able to identify pacing behavior and get them to a vet asap and saved their life.

Kelly was absolutely wonderful with my dogs. They are not used to strangers watching them but took to her immediately. She sent pics and updates with every visit which I loved! Will definitely book again .
Kelly is a joy to work with. I went on vacation and was worried about leaving my Yorkie home. Kelly made sure she ate (Maggie’s a picky eater) and sent me lots of picture updates. Maggie got the best care possible and I will be booking again with Kelly.

I like to get on their level and greet them so they feel safe. Food and water are important but so is play and making them feel happy. I’m a stickler for making sure doors are locked and there’s nothing they can get in trouble with like an open can they could lick and cut their tongue.

I look for any special instructions like medicine and feeding directions and portions. Some dogs have allergies like chicken and that’s important to know. I have years of experience tending to senior dogs, giving medicine even if they are good at finding pills.
A typical day
I love to give them special attention. Fetch, tug, walkies and of course belly rubs and puppy talk. If you have lick mat or frozen kong I can give that to them too.

Availability
I work from home and can typically leave at any time during the day to watch after your best friend. I think it’s important to spend time with them as well as just feed and take them out for a potty break. I’m happy to walk or play tug/fetch also.
