Dogs: Through MADACC, my partner and I foster dogs from their "Weekender" program. The program has been such a rewarding way to get dogs acclimated to home life as for all of us, it's a passion to find all animals their furever homes. Be it walks, drop-in visits, or boarding, you can have peace of mind knowing your pet will be well taken care of. Spoiled, in fact :) We have a backyard that is fenced in and love playing with the dogs back there after walks. Summer is especially fun as we have tons of dog-friendly water toys. My experience with dogs and cats (having also owned both large breeds and special needs animals), has made me very comfortable with dogs that have special and specific needs such as other dog/cat aggressiveness, food aggression, skittish, dogs that pull on walks, and pets needing medical care including injections and senior care. Cats: A cat lover in a dog world. Know that your cat(s) will feel like they're the most puuuurrfect pet, because they all are! My ownership experience consists of two cats into their senior years, including post-surgery care, and daily medicines (oral, shots, and ointments). I'm also comfortable with claw trimming and ear cleaning on cats that allow it. Our home has a separate room for cat(s) staying the day or being boarded.
