Hi, I'm Kelly! I am a first year medical student, and I did Rover pet-sitting during my gap year. Since I moved here, I've been missing spending time with animals so I'm back on Rover! I have 15 years of experience taking care of 2 dogs, and I'm the go-to person to take care of pets for my friends and family. (For example, I took care of a county Judge's dog multiple times a year for five years when she went on vacation.) I have also fostered a dog from a Humane Society in my hometown who needed love and support while healing from wounds. During the negative-degree cold snap this winter, I fostered a sweet dog from a local shelter. I love spending time outdoors and would love to take your dog for a walk around the neighborhood to get some fresh air. I'm not intimidated by extra-enthusiastic pets or pets with different needs. I would love to keep your pet company, take them for walks/adventures, play with them, etc. I love taking them for walks in the park or the bike trail or to enjoy the occasional pup cup. I'm also happy to just come give your pet some belly rubs and attention :)

I am comfortable with all kinds of dogs and personalities. I am experienced administering medications - let me know if they like them wrapped in a certain snack! Please let me know what your dogs specific needs are so I address all of them :)
A typical day
I would love to take your dog for a walk around the neighborhood to get all the sniffs :) I can also take them to the park or for a car ride to get a pup cup! I have a dog hammock in my back seat for their comfort :)

Availability
I LOVE doing this on the side. I'm currently a full-time student, so my daily schedule varies, but overall it is somewhat flexible. There are certain days or weeks I'm not available due to an exam or clinic commitment, but I mark those as Unavailable on the Rover calendar. I'm comfortable doing drop-ins, walks, house-sitting, pet-sitting for several days, or any other pet care requests!
