From the tiniest Teacup Poodles to the the 200 pound Great Danes, I'll provide compassionate and playful care for any pup. I have experience handling horses, working in pet supply stores and owning and training my own dogs. I'm a fan of even the feistiest terriers, the strong willed working breeds, the playful puppies, the couch potatoes, and the slow-paced seniors. My decade-long, hands-on experience with animals has given me the skills I need to understand dog behavior allowing me to give your dog a positive experience every time. With this understanding I'm able to make smart decisions and avoid issues even with difficult-to-train breeds and undersocialized or leash-aggressive dogs. I’m currently only accepting new clients for dog walking. I am open for shorter walks around you neighborhood or longer treks for more active pups. My own dog Barley, a very gentle one year old lab/ blue heeler mix is always available to join us if your dog likes company or could benefit from the socialization. I have experience using and fitting Easy Walk and Sensation harnesses, Gentle Leader and Halti head collars, as well as plastic and metal prong and choke chains. If your dog uses any of these, you can be confident that I will always use these tools gently and appropriately.
