Hi there!! I’m Ava* 😸 I have a HUGE soft spot for furry friends of all kinds 🐾 I have been pet sitting for family for 10+ years and sitting professionally since 2015. I’ve cared for animals of all sizes, ages, and temperaments. I quickly become the go-to for repeat clients, friends, and family to call upon when going out of town because I’m always so happy to welcome their pets into my home. Having the opportunity to care for pets is a truly fulfilling experience every day ❤️ I fostered a baby pittie last year for about 8 months and I currently have two cats of my own. They’ve taken over my house & my camera roll - they are everything to me. In my spare time I love weight lifting & reading a good book! I can’t wait to welcome your pets & I’ll always treat them as if they’re my own 😻 *I started on Rover about 6 years ago with my mom! Kelly is her name and my name is Ava - I can’t change the profile name to just be mine now. I am in the profile picture. Please feel free to ask any questions you’d like about me!

I want everyone to feel safe and secure during your pets time with me. I am very communicative during my time with pets. Expect plenty of photos! I always have a gentle and loving approach. I love a pet with lots of energy!

If you have any special instructions or requirements, please let me know as soon as possible so I can be sure to accommodate! I can provide oral medications to well-mannered cats and dogs as needed. One of my cats takes an oral liquid medication twice a day so I have plenty of experience!
A typical day
Walks are my favorite part of the job! I love being outside and exploring with new furry friends so there will always be some sort of exercise during every service. If you’d prefer I don’t take your pet out during the stay, I’m more than happy to play inside. A great day always ends with a good snuggle before bed!

I’m currently on a break from my 9-5 as a mental health & substance use counselor as I’m back in school. That means I’m available for pet care all hours of the day, 7 days a week!
