Good Morning/Evening! My name is Kelly. I am 23 years old and am located in Fountain, CO. I have been caring for animals professionally now for roughly 5 years now. I have cared for many types of animals including: dogs, cats, birds, hamsters, guinea pigs, and more! Growing up, I knew I always wanted to have a career working with animals. My mother was always fostering different animals, and in the midst, my love and respect for them grew even more! Rover has given me the opportunity to care for animals while I work towards my degree. I am a seasoned Rover sitter even though my profile is new. In 2018, I had to shut down my profile for about 6 months, not knowing I would not be able to access it later when I wanted to return. In May of 2017, my husband and I moved to Colorado Springs from a small town in Indiana. Caring for your dog(s), or cat(s). Is my FULL-TIME job. I am home most, if not all of the day during the week. If I do step out it is always for no longer then 3 hours. Rest assured, I make sure they have plenty of playtime prior to going into their crate. I also can offer constant care, last minute care, and administrating medications. I have experience with oral medication, but have yet to have a request for injectable medication. I am willing to learn though. My husband and I do not have any children, but we do have a 4-legged fur-baby! His name is Jack. He is a 2 year old German Shepherd/Lab mix. We rescued him back in May 2017, and he has only brought laughter into our everyday lives! I could not imagine not having him! Jack does get along with other dogs VERY well, BUT he can be an aggressive player at times. If that is something that will cause a problem, please let me know at the time of booking so I can plan accordingly. Although it is only my name on the Rover profile, my husband, Antonio helps significantly with caring for your pup(s). For example, when he wakes up in the morning, he will let them out for morning potty breaks, and he will also help feed and care for them. Therefore if we schedule a meet n'greet he is usually there (if in my home), or I would like him to be there (if somewhere else) as well. I DO NOT have any breed restrictions, nor do I have any weight restrictions. I love big dogs & small dogs! All that I ask is that you let me know ahead of time if your dog exhibits any sort of aggression on other dogs AND people. I do require my clients to be crate trained, for their safety, and for the condition of my home. Please not that although I do not have a yard (I live in a townhome), I provide daily walks (about 35-45 min), and can even take your pup to the dog park if they are comfortable at one.
