Kelly visited our farm twice to get to know our dogs, and all went well, but just a few days into our six week vacation out of the country, she decided, without warning, to cancel her stay. Needless to say, this created a huge problem for us. I wish she had been more communicative so I could have made other arrangements. The offer by Rover to suggest replacement sitters was not helpful.

Kelly house sat our two cats, which have very different personalities and care needs. One is older and requires several medicines given according to prescribing restrictions and his health needs close monitoring. He also does not take kindly to strangers. Kelly's low key, gentle approach and confidence appeared to bring him out quickly. Both cats were calm and seemed content when we returned after 6 days. From our observation, we can only assume that Kelly established a trusting relationship with them; they obviously were well cared for. She set up two visits prior to our leaving, taking careful notes each time about the cats, routine, and house and left us a wonderful diary of how the days went and updated us via email and text messaging every day. She was superb, and we will most certainly be calling on her again.
