I've owned dogs growing up from the time I was six years old until I left for college at 19. I've owned several different breeds over the years: a terrier mix, a Labrador/Irish Setter cross, and a Doberman/German Shepherd cross. Growing up with big dogs has made me very confident with different temperaments and needs, and I'm very comfortable with breeds across the board. I don’t have a dog currently and I'm missing their company terribly! It's the best of worlds this way, though: I can help dog owners needing assistance and get my canine companion fix! =] I own two cats and a small animal and they’re pretty comfortable with dogs now. Preferably I’d like to board dogs that are not aggressive towards cats.
