I felt very comfortable picking Kellie to care for my dogs.. She seemed to be responsible and level headed. So I was surprised when I saw Kellie on my house cameras coming into my home brining her friend with her with, without asking me first. She used my front door code and alarm code right in front of her friend. So not only is this person in my home without my knowledge, she now knew I was out of town and she also had the codes to access my home while I was away. I had requested Kellie to come to my home twice and let my 2 dogs out in the backyard to potty. I specifically left instructions that my Chihuahua be put on a leash in the backyard. Kellie read out loud to her friend that I wanted my Chihuahua to be put on a leash and she said to her friend, that dog doesn't need to go on a leash, the yard is fenced. Than she let my Chihuahua roam the backyard off of the leash, while her and her friend were in my home, not watching my dogs. Last year my other Chihuahua, Noodles slipped out between the house and the fence and was hit and killed by a car. That's why I asked her to put my Chihuahua on a leash. I couldn't believe she completely ignored my instructions. She left my back door open during both visits, the entire 30 minutes each time she was at my home. The next morning Kellie contacted me because she had locked herself out of my house ! So I walked her through how she could get in. Then when I came home at the end of the day my front door was unlocked. Kellie left my home and didn't bother to lock my front door behind her. I was also surprised that Kellie sent me an email after her visit telling me she was a teacher and dog sits on the side for extra income and asked me to leave a review. That tells me that Kellie feels she did acceptable job caring for my dogs and my home. I'm amazed that she felt she did a good job. She wanted me to give her a good review for the lozy way she cared for my dogs and home. Thank goodness I have cameras otherwise, I would have no clue what had gone on. My advice would be, if you decide to hire Kellie to care for your pets, make sure you have cameras. She needs supervision. Everything I'm leaving in this review today, I have on my cameras. I have filed a complaint with Rover.com and offered to send them the videos of Kellies visit. Hopefully Rover.com will remove Kellie from their sight before someone's dog gets hurt from her neglect or someone's home gets robbed from her leaving the doors open and unlocked.
