Loyal, trustworthy, loving, caring

Pet care experience

I have experience with all dogs from Rottweilers to teacup chihuahuas. I treat every dog as my own and I have been pet sitting for about 10 years. I can administer medicine, train, nail trims, baths, and Love to go on walks. I know how uncomfortable it can be to have to leave your fur baby and I would love to help make it easier by providing class A care for you and your pets. I have worked in animal clinics, humane societies, and have excelled in many animal care classes. Thank you for choosing me I know you will not be disappointed. I am available during the week and almost all weekends. Feel free to read reviews from other parents and I look forward to meeting you!

Kellie fed our dogs and let them out while she stayed at our house - I’ll give her that much. This was the easiest house/dog sitting job out there - no walking or bathing the dogs - just let them run around outside in the fenced in yard and feed them. However, I had asked her to pick up their poop in the backyard, wipe the dogs’ feet off when they come in since our yard is fairly muddy by the back door, and wipe countertops down before we got home like you do when you stay at someone's house. I specifically asked her to pick up the poop, as I explained to her, because one of my dogs eats the other dog’s poop and we try to prevent that by picking up the poop right away. When we returned, the yard was full of a week's worth of one dog’s poop - she didn't pick any up (which meant one dog feasted on the other dog’s poop), the floors were muddy, and there was dried food stuck on the counters and crumbs and food on the table. Then, she forgot to leave our house key and it took 6 days to get it back from her - three times she was a no-show for times SHE set and once she didn’t even reply. When she finally came to drop off the house key and pick up a few items of hers that she left behind, I mentioned those things to her and how I would like a partial refund since she didn’t do what we asked, talked about during the meet-and-greet and agreed on. We paid her for 9 days - an agreed upon price of $575 before Rover added fees to us and took their share from her. I asked for $100 back (a very reasonable, if not gracious request) for leaving 9 days worth of poop and not cleaning up after herself - both basic aspects of dog sitting and house sitting and the most time-consuming “musts” of what we paid her to do. Her response was that the dogs were well-loved and cared for and “that’s the main idea” and did not refund what we requested. Not picking up poop and allowing a dog to consume it is poor care of a dog. She said she didn’t go out to pick up poop because it was cold. Presumably, if it is cold, this means your dog will not get walked if they require walking. When I asked her for a refund, she mentioned that because of gas prices, she was already losing money because of her commute to and from work - there was no way she spent over $300 on gas for a 20 minute commute over the course of a week. There is no integrity there. Basically, she just wanted to cuddle dogs and doesn't consider your requests of her - that she agrees to - part of the obligation of the job. We are extremely dissatisfied and frustrated with her poor service and do not recommend her to anyone. I imagine she will respond to this complaint calling me unreasonable and rude as she has done with a previous complaint - both of which are not true. She will most likely say something about how she is sorry we are unhappy with her service but both the dogs were well-loved. But the fact is, she didn't do what we paid her to do.

I have been using Kellie for a while now and Kellie is great! My 4 month old puppy loves her. She always texts me when she arrives, and makes sure to take my girl out many times while she's in her care as she has a small bladder. She sends me pictures regularly so I can feel at ease knowing what my girl is doing. She even sends me updates on the days that she doesn't eat well or has an accident. She plays with my pup, takes her on walks, feeds her and gets her lots of lovin'! I would definitely recommend Kellie to anyone who needs a dog sitter. ?

I have to give Kellie a one star review for so many reasons. First, she showed up 45 minutes late to our meet and greet with zero apology or excuse. That should have been a red flag. But we hired Kellie to dog sit in our home and stay with our 4 year old dog and 2 month old puppy this past weekend. Kellie had multiple unknown visitors coming into our home Friday and Saturday. We would have been cool with it, but it’s so wrong to do that and just straight up not tell us. On Saturday Kellie locked herself out of our apartment and asked us to put in an emergency maintenance request to unlock our apartment. Later that night (when Kellie had a male visitor over, unannounced to us) Kellie moved our doggie camera to a street view so that we could no longer see into our apartment. I fully disclosed to her that we had that doggie camera, and it was NOT her place to touch that whatsoever. When I asked her to please move the camera back to the living room view, she tried blaming my dog “bumping it” as to why it moved which was a blatant lie. Additionally, our puppy was not tended to as closely as we had requested. Being a two month old puppy, he needed way more bathroom breaks. I watched Kellie clean up a stain on our brand new white couch and try and hide it by flipping the cushions around. She should have notified us of that (accidents happen!), but I just so happened to be looking at the camera when it happened and that is the only reason I know that it happened. We received only 3 photos from Kellie the entire weekend and very minimal updates. She copped an attitude with me the first night when I checked in after not hearing from her for several hours. Her overall lack of care and respect for our personal space caused us a lot of headache and stress during our weekend away. I would definitely recommend never booking with Kellie.

Kellie stayed at our home and watched our two German Shepherds for a long weekend! She was great with them and with the house and I will definitely use her again!
