SCHEDULE: I work full time Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. so I may not be the best fit for someone who needs someone in their home all day during week days. However I can stay the night on weekdays and also I am available almost all day on the weekends. I currently only offer house sitting (where I stay at your home), drop-ins and walks. I do not offer dog boarding (where your pet comes to stay with me). I work for Fresno County. I have my Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Fresno State and am currently back in school to become a psychiatrist. I've had dogs in my home my entire life, so I learned the basics on taking care of an animal at a young age. I wanted to be a veterinarian growing up so in high school I joined Future Farmers of America and that is when I learned how to administer shots to animals, how to spay and neuter them and give them basic independent care. I volunteered with the SPCA through college and started pet sitting at 18. I have a lot of experience taking care of animals with various medical needs. I've administered insulin shots to dogs with diabetes and have had dogs on medication and special diets so if your pet has specific care needs, I can handle it. I've also taken care of dogs post-surgery and can take care of basic medical issues. I've had experience with large and extra large breeds, dogs with a lot of energy that need to be walked often, small breeds, dogs who have separation anxiety, puppies going through potty training and any other breeds and ages in between. If you have cats or other types of animals, that's not a problem either. I genuinely love all animals and have a passion for taking care of them and over the years I've gained a lot of knowledge about how to cater to each animal's specific needs and personalities. My goal is to work with your family and your pets to make them as comfortable as possible in your absence. I will be able to stay at your home during the week and weekend.
