Kelli was terrific with my kitties and my friends stopped by to check on them as well and ran into her and told me she was great as well. I came back from a long trip to find happy cats! I will use her again! Thanks Kelli!

Kelli took excellent care of my dog Primo and she was super flexible with scheduling. Would definitely contact her as a dog sitter again :)

Kelli did a great job caring for my two kitties while I was away. The photos helped relieve my anxiety and my kitties seem to really love her!

Dedicated kennel assistant

Recently relocated to Arizona June 2018 and currently employed as a vet assistant in Sedona, AZ. Was previously employed at a boarding resort in Williamsburg, VA and had been there for 11 & 1/2 years as a kennel assistant. While I have been employed I have been trained on how to properly give insulin, fluids, and medications. Trained to identify basic medical problems with animals. Able to identify dog body language due to training ...

What Kelli would like to know about your dog

Before pet sitting a dog, I would like to be aware of any medical issues. Are there certain areas on your dog that he or she doesn't like to be touched? Is your dog afraid of storms or loud noises? Is your dog aggressive towards other animals? Knowledge in any basic command skills? When playing with toys do you have to watch for/prevent ingesting? I haven't come across a breed that I don't like, so no problem with preferences.

First Aid/CPR
Special Needs Dog Experience
Injected Medication Administration
Senior Dog Experience

About Kelli's Home

When Kelli watches your pet

I love to go on walks with dogs, so the pup I would be caring for would get plently of them! I enjoy taking dogs out for walks to woodsy areas, parks, beaches, & around neighborhoods. Fun activities we would do together would be tug & play with toys, play fetch, & cuddle times. Taking car rides to enjoy the sceneries. A day of caring for your dog would be to follow the directions you have for me. Routine is important & helps minimize some anxieties while you're away. My routine usually is similar to how I care for my pups & for boarders at the resort I am employed at. Morning potty break, breakfast, a 2nd potty break. Getting playtime in (walks, toy playtime, mid day nap if your dog needs it, mid day snack or meal if ok/if part of usual routine). Dinner around 4pm, potty break after meal, and last potty break around bedtime. If caring for a puppy or a senior dog, I like to give extra potty breaks to avoid accidents.
