Pet care experience
I've never met a dog I didn't like. Most of my friends refer to me as a dog whisperer because their dogs always listen to my commands, some even do tricks for me that they won't do for their owners. I believe well trained dogs are a direct result of the owners commitment to training them. Six years ago I lost my 7 year old German short-haired pointer, Zeus, to a brain tumor. Since I'm not in a position to get a new dog of my own at the time being, I figured I'd help some people out by hanging out with their fur babies instead! I'm a proud mama of an adventurous 9 year old yellow-bellied slider turtle named Chomp. I also love cats, bunnies and other furry friends, so feel free to inquire about your other pet-sitting needs!

Kelli has dog sat for me several times now. My dog Gilfoyle is a 7 year old terrier mix. I just recently adopted him, so he's needed time to adjust to his new surroundings. You can imagine my concern when hiring a dog sitter for a dog that's also pretty new to me. Kelli went above and beyond what I could have expected and now is the only dog sitter I will hire. She's developed a relationship with Gil and he now gets excited whenever she comes over. Gilfoyle was recovering from a somewhat serious skin allergy the last time she watched him. Kelli made sure to keep me updated on how he felt and gave him his medications when necessary. I would very much recommend Kelli to any dog/pet owner who needs a full-service and highly conscientious sitter, who will remove the worry during your vacation from your pet!
Hello! Kelli McCoy is an exceptional and responsible sitter for any and all animals. I had her take care of my cat, Bear, while my boyfriend and I were on vacation for 2 weeks. She did an amazing job! She took the time to sit and play with him so he wouldn't be lonely, made sure he had fresh food and water every day and cleaned out his litter box. There is not a better person out there that I would trust with my cat, who I have had over 10 years, than Kelli!
Kelli is a wonderful pet sitter. She took care of our dog, Maximus, for a week while we were out of the country. When we came home, Max was healthy and happy and had even learned a new trick from Kelli! He loves Kelli and is happy to be with her whenever we aren't home. She has an instinct for animals and is great with dogs. Max got lots of walks while we were away too. Kelli even sent us photos as we missed him while we were gone!
Kelli has watched our miniature dacshund/yorkie mix several times, including a few overnight and weekend stays. She is fantastic with him! She's an obvious animal lover and cares deeply about others' pets, as well as her own. Our dog loves when she comes over to visit, too! Can't recommend her highly enough.

Information I’ll usually ask before watching your dog includes: meal times, how many treats they’re allowed, potty schedule, when they usually go for walks, how the dog behaves when encountering people or other dogs, if they get crated when alone, what’s their favorite toy, do they know any tricks, which commands you use with them, and any bad habits or aggressive behaviors I should be aware of and look out for.
A typical day
Rest assured your pets will receive lots of belly rubs and snuggles. I will get down on the floor and actively play with them too. I always make sure each dog gets the adequate amount of walking time they need each day. Any additional needs your pets have will be met, including training when necessary.
