I've had dogs since I was three years old, and both of my parents grew up with dogs. We currently have three dogs, two labs, and a lab/Aussie mix. Our dogs love having "friends" over, and we currently dogsit frequently for family and friends. We have a large, yard, surrounded by a 6 foot privacy fence. We also have a pool that our dogs love, and your dog is welcome to enjoy. My dogs sleep in my room with me every night, and are welcome on the furniture. When staying at our house, the dogs we dogsit get treated like one of our own. Someone is almost always home, as my mother is recently retired, and I have a flexible work schedule. I'm comfortable giving medication, and I know basic animal first aid. I always put the needs of my animals before my own needs. I've also been riding horses since I was 8, and I've owned my own horse for the last 6 years. I was in the 4H horse program, as well as a 4H leader for a few years. I learned a lot about basic animal first aid through 4H.
