I am a trustworthy dog lover wanting to spend more time with dogs while helping my fellow neighbours. Spending time with the most precious animals and being able to make a few dollars sounds like a dream job to me! I finally got another puppy, after looking everywhere for a YEAR, so I have even more experience loving dogs! I would love to take dogs for walks/runs and check in on them at home to ensure they are safe and not feeling lonely while you are away. My vehicle can fit a few dogs comfortably. I live on an acreage, so your dog might just enjoy spending time there as well! I work from home, so my schedule allows me to accommodate your pet care needs.

Kelli is amazing!!! She has been walking our 2 year old heeler/jack Russell when needed for a year now. Mika loves going with her. She is great with mika and is always on time and available when we need her, which most of the time is last minute. We highly recommend Kelli.
I really appreciate Kelli’s flexibility, punctuality, and dependability - I trust her to come into home, and Ryla’s space (something that is really important to me). Providing respite and an opportunity to play mid-day, and managing an active and excited dog (and getting her back in the house) takes a steady hand and a warm heart. And while I wish I could be home all day, I’m confident that Kelli’s visit makes Ryla’s day (and mine) better.
To anyone who is looking for a pet sitter, Kelly is your go to person. She was awesome with my cat and was even able to take my cat to her own home while we were undergoing renovations. I contacted Kelli about walking our dog in preparation to return to work after working from home over the last 2 years. From the first contact with her, she responded very quickly and she continues to respond quickly when I reach out. Kelli came to our home to meet our dog and it was great to talk about him and his special needs as an older dog. Kelli is punctual, provides feedback about the walk along with pictures and we feel very comfortable with her coming in and out of our home. We are very grateful to have found such a kind and caring individual to look after boy!

Only in a very very rare circumstance have I brought pets to my home, and that was when I knew the pet got along with my dog (1 dog at the time) or when the pet (a cat) was able to have it's own safe space in my house. At a clients home, I follow any instructions given to me by the client, and ensure the pet is always in a safe situation, whether it's during a walk or playing in the yard. I return all pets in to their home as I found them, whether it be in to their kennel or free roaming in their house. If it's during a walk or playing in the yard, I ensure dogs are safe and comfortable in their environment, as I would for my own dogs.

I would like to know if they have any aggressive tendencies, or anything behaviourly specific. I would like to know if they are up to date on their shots, as I have a dog at home and don’t want to spread any potential health issues.
A typical day
I will play fetch - or whatever kind of games your dog loves. We will go for walks in the park, or at the off leash park if they are used to that setting. I will go for a run as well, if your dog requires more energy to be burned in a short amount of time! My dog absolutely loves other dogs, so she would love to play with your dog if they get along with others.
