Pet Sitter Bio: Ever since I can remember, I have been in love with animals. I have had animals my entire life. My parents were very clear, I could only have animals as long as I was responsible for their care. I think this made me very responsible at a young age up to today. I love being around animals and truly connect with them. I consider my pets’ family, I actually consider them my babies. I feel all animals should be treated with the upmost respect and provided the best love and care possible. Over the years I have had the privilege to care for several different animals i.e. Dogs, birds, goats, turtles, chickens, cats, fish, lizards, crawdads, snakes, & frogs. I currently have two female pit mixes: Deja – Pit & Chow mix, 4yrs old Leia – Pit & border collie mix, 3yrs old They are my entire world! I'm available all week and very flexible with times.. I would love the opportunity to play and care for your fur babies. Services Provided: Dog Walking, Daily Visits, Potty Breaks, Dog Park Trips, Pet Taxi - aka appointments, Overnights, Extended Overnights, and around the Clock Care. I hope to hear from you soon! We left our eight month old puppy with Kelli for four nights. During the days our dog was with Kelli the daytime temperatures were in the 100's, but Kelli managed to keep our dog cool and well hydrated by allowing her to be inside during the day, setting up a canopy in the backyard for shade, and providing a plastic pool with cold water. Our dog also seemed to have a lot of fun playing with her two dogs. Every day Kelli sent a picture/video of our dog having fun, which gave us peace of mind while on vacation. I plan to use her services again in the future.
Sage really enjoyed his stay and made a friend there !! Keille was very responsive be and understanding and knew how to play and take care of sage !! When I picked up he was a happy camper !! Will do again with her even though she is far from my place ?
Are you looking for an honest, reliable, hard working animal lover to walk your dog or watch your animals while you are away? Kelli Gowin has been my pet (and house) sitter for well over 10 years. I trust her because she is extremely professional, honest & respectful and she's sooooo sweet with my dog. My dog, Bella, LOVES Kelli because she always has time for some kind words, a friendly pet and a belly rub!!! I have known Kelli Gowin for years and I always ask her to housesit and dog/ cat- sit when I leave town because I know I'm leaving my precious animals in good, loving hands. I highly recommend Kelli Gowin to take care of your house or animals, as I have done for years.
Being a retired police dog, Fredy has some challenging personality traits - especially with new people. Kelli took the time to let Fredy relax and get comfortable on his terms. Fredy also needs lots of exercise, but is rather 'dog reactive' at the park. Kelli managed Fredy's needs so he could get exercise without conflict. Kelli has a calm confidence that Fredy responded to. Highly recommended!
