Veterinary assistant- loves animals

Pet care experience

Hi, My name is Kelley and I am 27 years old. I have worked as veterinary assistant for over two years and will be attending school to get my veterinary technician certification this fall. Animals are my passion! I love meeting new animals, caring for animals, and just spending time with them. I currently have 2 dogs of my own and have just rescued a kitty to add to the bunch! I understand that leaving pets with a sitter can be nerve wrecking, for not just you, but the animals as well, and do my best to ensure a positive experience for all! I do require a "meet and greet" before accepting a new sitting request! Thank you, would love and cant wait to hear from you!

Kelley was outstanding and has great communication. We will most certainly use her anytime we need in the future that she’s available.

Kelley was amazing! She took great care of our Paul and made sure he was loved and well taken care of over the holiday. Highly recommend! We will definitely be using her again the next time we are out of town!

Never have I met someone so selfless. She cares for my puppies as her own and is willing to work around my crazy schedule. She is the absolute best

We loved having Kelley take care of our dogs! We had never left them with anyone except family but she gave us total confidence and Nya and Cali loved her! We will definitely use her to watch them next time we travel.

Safety, trust & environment

I have tons of experience caring for animals, being that I work in the vet industry. I am able to medicate, feed, bathe, and notice health concerns as they arise. I am comfortable administering injectable medications and caring for senior animals that may have more health concerns. I have no problem with cleaning up messes in the house or the animals themselves. Whatever needs to be done, I have no problem doing, when it comes to the safety and care of animals!

Information Kelley R. would like to know about your pet

I don't have any breed preferences. I love all dogs every shape, age and size! Same goes for feline friends! Before watching your animal I would like to know: -What is your dogs feeding schedule? -If your dog has separation anxiety? If so, what are some ways that I can relieve their stress? -What are some of your dogs favorite activities? -Has your dog ever shown traits of aggression in the past? -Does your dog get along with other dogs? -Does your dog have any behavioral quirks that I should be aware of? - Is there anything I can do to ensure an overall great experience?

A typical day

When dropping in on animals I, of course, feed and medicate accordingly. I am more than happy to provide exercise if daily walks are a part of your animals regular schedule!
