Pet care experience
I'm an animal lover and shelter volunteer, and I'd like to hang out with your dog when you travel! I've taken clients' dogs everywhere from the park to the vet, and even on out-of-state travels over the holidays. Thanks for checking out my profile and I look forward to meeting you! Why I love dog sitting: I grew up with a chocolate lab named Hershey, so I've lived with dogs on and off since the age of two. In addition to dog-sitting, I walk dogs for Sean Casey Animal Rescue. My partner and I have a good-natured rescue named Tillie (she's 4) and if you're comfortable having her stay with us too, your dog will have a playmate!

Kelley was great! Throughout her stay she was constantly checking in and sending updates with my 12 week old puppy and letting me know how he was doing. When I came back home she gave me a full report and Wesley was extremely tired so that means he had a good time. I would definitely use her again if I ever need a sitter!
kelley was WONDERFUL!!! So many beautiful pictures, so many fun adventures to the park with our girl, our apartment was left perfectly clean, super communicative and responsive. WE LOVE KELLEY!
Kelley was great very professional and polite leading up to our first meeting. During her stay she sent us regular updates and pictures. Our dogs seemed calm and happy when we got home. Kelley also left our home immaculate when she left. We would definitely book her again.
All I can say is excellent! Kelley did a great job with our Maggie. Maggie is a former rescue and is shy around new people. When we returned from our trip, Maggie was relaxed and had obviously warmed up greatly to Kelley. We also enjoyed the picture updates throughout the weekend and came home to a spotlessly clean home. Thanks for the great stay!

I'm flexible on where I watch your dog - happy to stay at your place if it helps your dog feel comfortable and routine, happy to bring them to my house if that's easier for your travel purposes (super early or late departures/arrivals might mean that it's best for me to keep your pup at my place and then bring them to you once you're settled back in, for example).

It's helpful to know what routines your dog has, so I can stick to them while you're gone - that way, there's minimal disruption for him/her! Whether you keep music/TV on during the day or give special treats after walks, that's all stuff I like to keep in mind. I have no breed preferences.
A typical day
If your dog is comfortable off-leash, I love taking them to off-leash hours at a big New York park (Prospect, Central, or any dog park) and letting them run free. If not, I'm also happy to do long walks to make sure they get enough activity and stimulation! Extra house-sitting services I'm happy to water plants, bring in mail, and do light cleaning for longer stays.
