I grew up with four dogs and six cats, and the dogs were of varying sizes and temperaments. A shih-tzu mutt, a poodle mutt, a black lab, an Australian shepherd mix, French bulldogs, dachshunds, and more. That was a strong enough foundation to start from, and continued through the years. I started housesitting for individuals around town while I was attending school, and have had a revolving list of 5-6 clients throughout the years ever since. This has included dogs between the ages of 10 weeks and 18 years -- the latter of which needed daily diaper changes, oral medications, and special food. I have taken dogs to the vet and managed infections, I've taken them for long walks and avoided dog fights, but most importantly, I've cuddled with and loved on hundreds of dogs and cats. I also have experience taking care of chickens, horses, cockatiels, guinea pigs and fish. You name it, I can probably handle it.
