Dogs have been in my family all my life. Boxers as a child and later Labradors, as I raised humans and canines together. I think it is very important that dogs and people get to interact in a family/pack setting to encourage social behaviour. But that the other side of this coin is that as members of a family/pack we are all clear of our place there, makes for a happier dog. As I am moving into retirement, my family has left home and we have recently lost our Black Lab, there is space in my life again. Space that I cannot think of a better way of filling than with dogs. We will consider boarding any dog, regardless of breed and on a successful introductory meeting.
