Pet care experience
I have owned dogs my whole life and have been responsible for care and training of some amazing four-pawed friends. All my life I have gained inspiration and insight from many different pets with several veterinarians and animal care specialists in my family. Throughout college I volunteered at a humane society shelter, walking, washing, and caring for many different breeds of dogs. Working at Denali National Park in Alaska I also had the opportunity to be a volunteer walker of one of the hard-working sled dog bark rangers named Koven. Enthusiasm, energy, and compassion are personal traits I exude constantly in conjunction with my love for the natural world and all its inhabitants!

I am a Kennels Ranger in Denali National Park and Preserve where we maintain a sled dog kennel of 31 dogs for park operations during the winter. In the summer while it is too hot for the dogs to be run in large teams we have an army of local volunteers who help us to take the dogs on walks. This summer Keith was the walker and lover of a dog named Koven. Keith logged over 25 hours of walking time with Koven with countless hours of cuddles. He went on both walks and runs with Koven and always made time for a play session too. He's a true natural with dogs and being a dog professional myself would highly recommend Keith as a trustworthy animal person.
Keith grew up with dogs and is very knowledgeable when it comes to their care and handling. Keith is very responsible and I feel like my dogs are in good hands when he is caring for them. He even had a job caring for the national sled dog team at Denali National Park in Alaska when he lived there. You can be sure your dog will be well cared for if you hire Keith as your pet sitter!

As a previous park ranger and canoe enthusiast, my favorite places to take dogs are parks, natural areas, and along rivers. However, I am willing to venture to recommended or frequented areas the pup's owner may provide. I deeply enjoy exploring new places and love giving a dog the chance to do the same!
