Pet care experience
I am one of those people that will stop you on the sidewalk and ask to pet your dog. Animals are my passion! I have been pet/housesitting for 10 years now and absolutely love it. Growing up in VT I had the amazing opportunity to look after animals of all shapes, sizes and species including rabbits, tortoises, cats, dogs, birds, and a variety of farm animals. I am an animal lover through and through and always sure to provide the best, most loving care as if they were my own. While I enjoyed WFH life, I am back in office full time and work in Greenwich M-F 8:30am- 5pm. That said, I am still able to look after your pets before and after work on those days but afternoon walks are no longer possible for me. (I’m just as sad as you are about this.) I AM fully available for nights and weekends however whether it is just a drop-in to play, take for a walk or stay overnight. Going away? I am happy to stay overnight! I love dogs of all sizes and breeds and can handle puppies and strong dogs alike. Cats? Birds? Lizards? Bunnies? I’m happy to look after and care for them all! :)

Keishara was amazing!! She watched our 2 dogs and cat for 10 days while we were away. We don't leave them often and were a little nervous about leaving them that long. Keishara sent us photos and posted more to her own social media so we got to see them every day. She was really great with our one dog who can be a bit intimidating and protective at first too. Not only was Keishara great with our furry kiddos, she also kept our home clean and left it just as she found it. We will 100% use Keishara again!! Pretty sure the dogs already miss her!
Keishara is completely trustworthy, responsible, timely, and LOVES animals! She grew up in rural VT on a farm, surrounded by animals, and told me that in spite of being so busy with her "normal" job, she just really missed animals! Keishara understands dog behavior well, including for our nervous rescue dog who is 80 lbs and can be quite intimidating. She has won his trust, and he now looks forward to her visits! We have 2 rescue dogs, and 2 cats, and they are all spoiled by her! Keishara house sits for us when we're traveling, and I trust her completely with our home, and our pets! She also walks the dogs on days when we are too busy to take them out. She always arrives on time, and they get great exercise with her, while also having fun! She is a fabulous communicator, too, and regularly sends us pictures and gives us updates! I can't recommend her enough!

I have a 1500 sq foot apt and I’m close to downtown and various dog parks. Plenty of options for walks. I am always cautious when bringing pups around other dogs. I do my very best to mimic their daily routines to provide your pup with the best experience possible. I am comfortable boarding and staying overnight, giving medicine, walking or taking them on a hike, dealing with puppies and elderly dogs.

My primary concern is your pet's safety, health, and happiness during his or her stay. With that being said I would love to know... How your dog gets along with other dogs and people? What is the health history of your dog? Any temperament or training history? Typical behavior and play style? The more I know about your dog, the better I can care for him or her. I have no breed preferences, all dogs will be loved!
A typical day
I am a very outdoorsy person and am happy to help your dog run out some of their energy. Depending on preference and time your pup can expect anything from a leisurely walk to a fun filled day of playing fetch and tug-a-war, as well as many belly rubs. Depending on owner and pet preference, I am happy to walk in a park or if it is an extended stay go on a hike. I am also totally fine for a night of cuddles on a couch with a good movie.
