Aloha 🌺 I've cared for animals my whole life( dogs, cats, rats, guinea pigs, birds, actual pigs, goats, fish and horses) and adore them as much if not more than people. My own dog Akiva was my soul dog and I was blessed with spending 14 incredible years adventuring with her. She passed last March and I have been watching my loved ones animals since enjoying the love and companionship. I am happiest and most at peace when I am around animals of all kinds and am turning my passion for animal care into a livelihood. I am patient and enthusiastic to learn the special needs of each individual animal and their specific personalities. I have almost 2 decades of animal specific care and am always open to learning how to show up better in every new situation so I can always maintain a safe and healthy environment for each special fur baby.

Keeni is wonderful with animals….they just have this natural connection and intuition with animals. They truly have a special bond with our cat Swami & I always feel safe and at ease knowing Swami is in safe and loving hands. Highly would recommend Keeni as a pet sitter or walker. :)
Keeni has a deep love and kinship with all members of the animal world. Their care and respect for pets is palpable, and they have been a vegetarian for as long as I’ve known them. My cat has a special bond with Keeni, and whenever I go off island I 100% trust Keeni to watch him. Keeni is deeply capable, reliable, intelligent and considerate. Currently I live in a home with a very particular kitty cat who is not fond of other animals so stays at my place aren't possible while living here. I am trained in animal cpr and feel confident about keeping all pets safe while watching in their homes. I ask that owners share any special information about allergies or medications or special needs before the sitting begins so I am always informed on how to best support their baby.
Information Keeni R. would like to know about your pet
It's very important to me to know all safety needs of your pets! Allergies, special needs, and any past emergency situations that may occur again such as surgeries, or patterns of potentially unsafe behavior to keep a special eye on (i.e eating inedible objects, chewing/scratching to the point of harm) I also like to know what preferred treats/type of petting each fur baby enjoys most.
A typical day
I really enjoy doing whatever the specific pet enjoys ! Personally though playing tug of war or fetch, walking the beaches, going on hikes around the island and giving them their preferred and allergy safe treats is my favorite !

Availability
I am currently the assistant manager at Northshore Zipline and while during the months of July and August that takes up a bit of my time, my schedule is flexible and I always have Sundays and evenings off. This allows me to be available with enough notice at any time.
