I am a long time animal lover and pet rescuer, and have over 20 years of experience handling all different sizes and breeds of dogs. As a young child my family fostered dogs and puppies for a rescue group that specialized in rescuing the so called "dangerous" breeds (pitbulls, rottweilers, chows, ect.), and so from a very early age I learned that there is no such thing as a "bad dog." A dog will be as good as it was raised to be, and every dog just wants to be loved. When I was a teenager I volunteered with the same rescue group in their adoption center, where I fed, walked, played with, cleaned up after, and showed dogs to perspective families. It was here I also learned how to care for non-threatening wounds and how to dispense medications. I myself have rescued many dogs over the years, and have had everything from pitbulls, boxers, labs, and golden retrievers to my current fur babies, two little white Chihuahua mixes, Womp and Kiki. I also have to beautiful cats, Ziggy Stardust and Major Tom, and am comfortable with all animals (and I mean all!), so I am happy to work out caring for other animals in your household as well if needed. And, though I wouldn't refer to myself as a pet trainer, I do have two cats who both know Sit and Say Please, and my dogs are very well trained as well, so if you have puppy or dog that you need assistance with teaching basic commands, I am happy to help there too. I also have a passion for photography, particularly in animal portraits, which you can see from the photos of my pets on my profile. So you also have the added bonus that you may end up with some great new shots of your pet! I have an open availability and understand that your pets are a part of your family, as mine are a part of mine, and can promise you the same standard of care that I would provide for my own pets.
