I have fostered three dogs. The last dog I adopted. I've owned cats my entire life.My dog is not well match with cats. I do not currently own a cat for that reason. I am pretty efficient at giving pills. Most animals feel comfortable with me very quickly. My dog was very skittish at first . So I understand if an animal needs that time to warm up. I have learned each animal has different preferences. I am willing to learn them according to each animal. I enjoy take my dog on long sniffing expeditions . She is part Hunter dog so always need to distract from critters. She came to me with no training , she didn't know what cuddles were, and she was six months old.
