Pet care experience
I've grown up with dogs and cats in my home since I was a small child. I cannot remember a time in my life when we did not have animals at home. Before moving to Chicago from, I was a volunteer at the MaxFund shelter in Denver where I got to walk dogs and play with kitties. While sadly, I currently cannot have animals at my home, I hope to find a local animal shelter to volunteer. As a nurse, my schedule is variant to the typical 9-5pm job, so I have a more flexible schedule. Having had many different kinds of dogs and cats at my home growing up, I am comfortable with small and large breeds alike in both dogs and cats and am ready to treat your furry family members as my family members!

KC did a GREAT job caring for our pets and she is very trustworthy. I could really relax knowing she was there taking care of our dogs and cats while we were away. I hope she is available every time we have to leave town.
Perfect sitter- my dogs loved her!!! The daily updates made me feel very comfortable while I was away- highly recommend!
KC watched our 4 month old puppy, George, while we were away for the first time since we brought him home. I was so nervous leaving our little guy behind, but KC took all that anxiety away. She came over to meet George before her visit so he could get to know her, and did an amazing job communicating with us before and during her stay. KC even sent photo updates throughout the weekend, which was much appreciated! Georgie wakes up very early in the morning but KC was super sweet about it and snuggled with him on the couch (his favorite thing in the world). We would not hesitate to recommend KC to our friends and will absolutely be booking her again!

Its always good to know what makes your pup excited and happy if I'm coming to stay! That always helps me make a good impression! But equally important, anything that makes them scared and nervous so I can keep them safe, calm and comfortable while you are gone. I know your absence can make it difficult for your fur babies and I want to ease that feeling as much as possible. Lastly, I would like to know about any 'inappropriate' items which they may be inclined to get into so I can be prepared to prevent it.
A typical day
I love to go to dog parks if your dog enjoys them! But I am also always up for a nice walk around a familiar neighborhood or a good game of fetch in the backyard depending on the circumstances. For my indoor feline friends I enjoy a fantastic lazer pointer fetch or a mousecateer search before a purriffic nap.
